派斯因其多才多藝而廣受讚譽，曾參與過《貝隆夫人》（Evita）（1996 年）、《新鐵金剛之明日帝國》（Tomorrow Never Dies）（1997 年）、《魔盜王決戰鬼盜船》（Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl）（2003 年）和《美麗新世界》（The New World）（2005 年）等大預算電影，以及《拜金一族》（Glengarry Glen Ross）（1992 年）和《愛與痛的邊緣》（Carrington）（1995 年）等獨立項目。
